The organization Prime Initiative for Green Development (PIGD), Founded in 2014, as a not-for-profit organization that is registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria. We pride ourselves in joining the fight against environmental hazards by creating environmental awareness on climate change, and gender injustices on social rights of women, youths and Persons Living with Disabilities (PLDs) in the society, as well as encourage youth participation in policy review and negotiations through campaigns, advocacies, design and implementation of sustainable and innovative projects.Prime Initiative for Green Development (PIGD) has observer status with the United Nation framework convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), and United Nations Environmental program (UNEP) accreditation.
